Delete your dhivi POS account
Before you delete
Deleting removes your shops' records for good. If you may need them, for your accounts or GST, download a copy first: sign in at account.dhivi.app and open Activity › Your data › Download a copy.
How to ask
Only the owner or an admin of the business can ask, so that nobody else can delete it.
- Sign in at account.dhivi.app.
- Open Support and choose Report a problem.
- Write "Close and delete my account" and press Send.
Can't sign in? Email [email protected] from the email address on the account, with your business name. We confirm it is you before anything is deleted.
We close the account and delete its data within 30 days, and tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Every shop's products, stock, bills, returns, expenses, suppliers and customers.
- Your staff's sign-ins, PINs and phone unlock, and the business's settings and connections, including a linked Google sign-in.
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers and addresses on the account.
What is kept, and for how long
- Our invoices to your business and their payments, for as long as Indian tax law requires.
- A record that the account was deleted, and when.
- Encrypted backups made before the deletion, until they expire, at most 30 days later. They are not used to restore your data.
